Around 7 years I've had my converted loft with all my toy soldier and related items and never had a problem. There is a window which always remains closed but there are tiny gaps around it...

This has led to, for the first time ever, cluster flies endig up in the loft. I have closed the loft up but am pannicking about all my items being possibly ruined. Could this happen?

Whats the best way to get rid of them without ending up with hundreds of dead flies around the dioramas?

Going to get some of the foam expanding stuff once their gone to fill in all gaps. Got a guy who maybe able to help but can't phone him till half 10!

Nightmare!!!

This reminds me of a sketch from the early days of SCTV, "Sunrise Semester: Conversational Scottish", with Dave Thomas as the host, Angus Crock. "Close the door, yer lettin' in all the wee beasties!"

Prost!

Fly paper or a fly trap. With the first they are attracted to the paper by a scent and get stuck to it. The 2nd is similar but they drown in the liquid. Either way it is good bye fly and may you RIP.......................

Fill the gaps now dont wait. Get the fly paper and traps and put them out now as well. But get the window sealed up or they will be back.

Good luck

Dave

Well looks like they've all gone!

Just filled in the gaps but found a few more a few hours later. Let them out the window and since then....nothing!

HuzAh!!
