Hey Guys,

I primarily only collect 1/32 Forces of Valor and 21st Century tanks, vehicles and soldiers but after looking at a dio of some of your guys collections I was blown away.

My question is which other brands are 1/32 scale? Looking for a brand that has very detailed soldiers. I'm not so much into the vehicles (maybe down the line) but would rather supliment my diecast tanks and vehicles with better soldiers. Also does 1/30 scale figures look out of place next to 1/32 figures and vehicles or in the real world would the size different be a matter of inches on the height of a man?

Thanks for the info.

Hello Corey

I like you had this dilema several years ago as I was collecting FOV vehicles but I was not happy with the figures. I searched around and found that Britains (and another brand that I can't remember) make 1:32 scale figures so I purchased a large quantity of the Britains German and U.S. figures. What I found though is that either the figures are a little to big or the FOV vehicles are a little to small. They worked together ok but the FOV figures that sit in my German 8 ton halftrack and the crew of my German 88mm gun look to small when compared to the Britains figures. I had the same problem with my other FOV vehicles, tanks and artillery crews matching up with my Britains figures.

I now collect K&C and TG vehicles, tanks, AFV's artillery, AT guns and figures, Figarti vehicles and some FL vehicles. I still have my FOV vehicles and Britains figures but I have not purchased anymore since. The other issue I have is that Britains only really made attacking figures and not figures sitting on tanks, tank commanders, marching or walking non combat figures, figures at rest or in vehicles etc. This limits what you can do with matching FOV vehicles and Britains figures. I would have liked to replace all my FOV German 88mm gun crew with a more detailed gun crew made out of metal and also any other FOV figures that came with my vehicles, tanks and arillery. The only other manufacturer that has figures that are close to FOV vehicles scale wise are FL. They have some non combatant figures but I didn't go down this road because they are not perfectly matched scale wise with FOV, they are quite expensive and I am now collecting the other brands that I mentioned although I still collect a few FL vehicles.

Thanks Tom,

That pretty much answered my question. Seems like not much choice but to switch scales. Anyways thank you for responding.

Corey.
