Great story, or better putting it, history! I`ve thought I read, saw and knew a lot of WWII for the last 30 years, but frankly this is the first time I heard of this truly fantastic and one of a kind battle! Thanks for posting!

They defended the castle and rescued high profile French prisoners

Former French presidents and prime ministers were kept prisoner.
