Interesting Old Set of Metal Indians, Animals & Dio - Looking for more information!

I received an email from a collector in Brazil who came across this set that was brought over from Germany, possibly in the 1930s? He says there are some numbers that are hard to read on the bottoms of some figures but not all, approximately 4cm/1.75 inches to 5.5cm/2.25 inches tall and are made of metal. Anyone know who made these and if the 1930s is accurate as for time?
I will pass along any information gleaned to him - so thank you to anyone who has information!

I find the animals and the haystack rather fun!

The majority of these figures is from German-made homecast molds, Schneider Bros, and possibly Ideal ("ee-day-ahl"). Both makers had sets of African and other native subjects in their catalogs, including villages. They also had molds for figures depicting the American West, cowboys and Indians, which was a subject almost as popular among the Germans, as it was and is here.

The fact that they are mostly semi-round is one clue, and another is the shape of many of the bases. Typically, the bases were straight-sided, with a shallow point or angle front and back.

I've got some catalogs that I can check, to see if I can identify specific molds.

Prost!
