Lets just think about this for a minute.

We all have to be creative with the way that we design our Dios due to the unique poses our figures are in: standing firing, repel, etc. But wouldn't be great if we could manipulate the figures to poses that fit in our specific dio - by adjusting their limbs? Please see the reference picture: gi-joe-action-figures2.jpg

I think this could really revolutionize the toy soldier industry and add a ton of possibilities to our already creative dios.

Cicero, Probably something better left for the plastic, poseable action figure market. Poseable figures can not work with white metal, painted figures.
Imagine the complications involved with this one ! Appreciate you sharing your thought here !

Welcome to the forum ..... :salute::

I don't think it has ever been done in metal but William Britain had made a similar product in plastic in the 60s called swoppets. They revived it somewhat in the 90s for a short period of time.

I agree that it probably can't be done in white metal, but fully posable plastic figures in 1:29 scale were made for the "Polar Express" train set which was released a few years ago after the Polar Express animated movie - I got a set for my kids, and they are a perfect fit, scale wise with K&C toy soldiers.

Conte Spartan's had moveable arms and heads. Great for conversions too! Of course, I would swap arms / heads etc, and glue in place and paint. No way metal will GIVE enough for male/ female pop in moveable parts.
