Hi! I'm new on this forum and just thought I should say HI! Okay now down to business:) I'm making a 1/32nd diorama for a contest on another forum that collects 1/18th and 1/32nd. My diorama is 4 feet by 2 feet and I have a dirt road going along the side and a network of trenches and an under ground bunker in the corner. The road will have a german convoy going along it, under attack by an American plane. I spray painted the board and then I am going to cover in woodland scenics grass (makes me tired thinking about it:cool:) I have alot of 21st Century and Conte defending germans and attacking Americans along with a bunch of vehicles. BTW the diorama is set in the Falaise gap during the summer of 1944. Also this is my first diorama. Just wondering if anybody has any suggestions, hints or could recommend a 1/32nd piece that would go well in my diorama. I might post pics later depending on how my digital cam is working

Thanks Alot!

Welcome Colpickle, that sounds like a very interesting dio. I would suggest looking at Build- a Rama for some shrubbery and trees. I like the sound of Conte Germans, my favorite, there are lots of great sites to look at for ideas. Look through the TreeFrog past dio galleries for some great ideas. There are a lot of very talented members here, that can stare you in the right direction, Good Luck on your dio, Mike:)

I say welcome too Col. Pickle glad to have you here. I am afraid I am not much help on dioramas as I set my soldiers out in the dirt to create my Dioramas. You will get a lot of help here though from our many talented members. Just remember mother nature provides a lot of scenic touches to add to your Dioramas. A broken tree limb a tree , The licken from trees Bushes, Rocks for rocks , A little imagination when walking through the park produces wonders. Good luck on your Diorama and will be patiently waiting for some pics of it.

Col.Pickle, Welcome to the forum. Lots of different scenic ideas. What did you need help with exactly?

Welcome aboard Col. Pickle. I remember your name from the BSP log book. Thanks for taking the time to write. Your first dioramat appears to be very large. Does it have to 4x2? That's a lot to worry about and of course, time consuming. You can get great results making it 2x2 also. If you posted photos of what you have so far it would be a lot easier for every one on this website to help you along. Good luck newbie, LOL.:D...Nick
