maybe I'm just dense...
or have a mild case of dyslexia...^&grin...
but on all the TG "new release newsletters"...
matching the figure to the description is a little time consuming and frustrating to me...
they start the newsletter in a format where they describe in detail...
all the figures in a 2,000 word essay...
then...below that...
at the bottom...
they show every figure (in order) to match the description...
it's a large email file...
so I have to scroll down to look at each figure...
every time I try to find which is which...
I have to scroll back to the picture or the description...
several times...
to make sure I'm ordering the correct figure...
this is compounded even further by releasing identical sculpts in repainted schemes...
with different headdress and shields...
they use elaborate descriptions...
which I appreciate and like...
but they use descriptions like "3 Headed Griffon shield or Medusa shield design" on the same poses...
I have to scroll up and down several times to make sure I'm ordering the right figure...
they use descriptions like "Medusa shield with red background and Prometheus and eagle shield design"...
one Hoplite (SPA 12A...SPA 12B...SPA 12C) this month is done 3 ways...
Hoplite thrusting Dory with Spartan Lambda shield
Hoplite thrusting spear with lion head design on black background
Hoplite thrusting spear with Hero & Leander design on shield
a dory is a spear...
I had to Google dory to find out what it is...
each identical sculpt has the same spear in his hand...
it's called a dory in one description...
and a spear in the other two descriptions...
the entire formats seems complicated to pick out what I want to buy...
does anybody else struggle with putting the figure to the description?
I wish they would show the picture of the figure...
then immediately below it...
put all the pertinent ordering information below it...
I love the detailed description...
but it just bothersome to scroll back and forth...
and seems like it would be a lot more user friendly.
if the description...stock number and price...
was directly below the picture...
honestly...does anybody else struggle with putting the figure to the description?
I have never asked this publicly...but I have a dealer friend that says it's a little difficult to use...
