Hi.
So as to save time doing hours of web searches, will someone please tell me if any company ever made a figure for the medieval German king Otto I?
If possible, would you mind also sending me a web address so that I can purchase one?

Maybe Peipp, of Dresden. He has a series of later Saxon rulers, and I don't recall seeing any medieval figures, but I'd take a look at his catalog. Just google "peipp miniaturen".

Hi Mike,

Cant answer this one per se but would suggest you contact White Tower in the UK. They have an extensive line of Saxons and Vikings and Normans so they maybe able to do a figure for you since Otto I is not going to be a guy heavily requested. I will look in one of my references that has a lot of knights and see if there ever was one but I wouldnt hold my breath..

It is a 90mm flat and painted but you might get it unpainted on request as well.

At 38 euro for a 90mm flat that's not a bad price. I was going to take a look at their site but did have time (we were getting ready for a trip last night) I was thinking today while driving the 5 hours to Wroclaw (Breslau) that Elastolin might have made one but I don't know for sure. But thankfully the Berlin Zinn guys have one. I will have to hit their shop again next time I am in Berlin.

Hi Dave,
I am afraid Elastolin never did a figure of him. Just found a really different design of him much different to the usual miniatures here.
Who knows, might look good once painted up and certainly "Special" - price seems to be ok as well
