I have a fair number of the glossy French-Indian War / Bluecoat / Redcoat series. But the Indians and French are out-numbered. Is there any hope for Indians, and Montcalm and others in the future?
I'd love Indians hanging around the longhouse, going hunting, at the trading post, hiding in the woods. Maybe some French troops defending Quebec, or attacking in upperstate New York.

Is anyone else interested or have you all gone to the Sudan?

I hope we still see a few FIW sets crop up from time to time plenty more room for glossys on my shelves!

Well, we are closing in on the Line List for 2011... It looks like some of your wish list will be coming next year. The Gloss Redcoats and Matt ACW are the lion's share of what I display here at home myself.
Gloss will still be added to... with a good showing for F&I.
More soon!

Cant wait Ken any hints about what redcoats will be coming our way? Maybe some more modern era figures? would love to see post war troops done as glossys!!!

Craig

Sorry all,
I will have to confine my hints to the Gloss F&I coming your way!
Ken

This is splendid news indeed. The FIW glossy are among the best in the series. I am hoping for some multi-figure sets like the Royal Artillery. A camp scene would be ideal and we definitely need more Indians & French. Thanks for the encouragement Ken.

These are also some of my favorites as mentioned earlier. There are still a few 'missing links' for the Crown Forces... and of course the French. This will defiantly be addressed soon.

From Scott:
We are all in Natal Russell
I knew it .

Good news indeed. ;)

In my modest opinion, in an opinion which does not have any sales figures at hand, I think we need traditional French, i.e. la Franche Marine, and fortunately Hurons and Iroquois are interchangable (they were the same culture, spoke the same language, and they all bought their canoes at the MEC (Mountain Equipment coop) :D.

Below is some free 'research', Ken, on tradition Iroquois/Huron life. :)

Thanks again for such a quick reply Ken.

Good new on the FIW front, I really like these glossy wonders. I wish we'd have an Indian canoe:p...

Some are in "glossy" Natal. Pretty quiet there as well. Although I have a set of Regal 24th coming soon, WB should really make some cool sets. Let's hope for the best.
