I am from Slovenia so is there any toy soldier show near my country like Austria,Italy,Hungary?

I believe there is one in Germany but I am not sure of the location plus you can always go to London for the December show. Trains are pretty fast or you could fly.

I will see if I can remember where the one in Germany is.

I am pretty sure there is a historical figure show in Trieste in June, but I do not know if there are any toy soldiers at the show.

You're not too far from Germany, there are shows there, too, though they are more historical miniatures shows than toy soldier shows. There's a lot more material for the painter than for someone who is strictly a collector. But the Kulmbach show takes place every other August (next one in 2011), and there is an annual show in Ingolstadt ("Herzog von Bayern"-"Duke of Bavaria")

Ok,great!!!!
Is there any link so that i can see the dates,adress,...?

There is one in Belgium, Brussels, every year end-March / early-April.

No large makers but a lot of collectors displaying stuff (plastic and metal).

The next one is on Sunday 28th March (8am-2pm).
If interested just send me a mail and I'll provide you with details.

In the meantime, here's the URL for the group that stages the Ingolstadt exposition:

www.ingolstadt-herzog-von-bayern.de

It redirects to the website of the Club to Promote Artists, Figures, Cultural and Historical Tin Soldiers of Ingolstadt, "Herzog von Bayern". But as I mentioned, it's more of a association of painters and modelers, rather than collectors, and much emphasis is given to the flat.

as some fellow collectors said, we have some bigger shows in Germany:
Kulmbach is the most important, next show will be mid of August 2011.

second important show is Bad Nauheim (near Frankfurt), every year in October.

then we have big modellbaumesse in Dortmund/Germany (next:14th to 18th of April 2010 and Wien(Vienna)/Austria next in October 2010.
Hope that helps.
Best regards Marcus
