Like most long suffering horror fans, I find the good ones few and far between. This one has been getting a lot of positive buzz and turned out to be one of the better genre films that I've seen recently. Granted that is not saying a whole lot. Maybe "The Babadook" is the only really good one that I've seen in the last couple of years. It's kind of a slow burn, creepy premise. Even slightly original which almost never happens. Like all horror films there are some silly plot developments that make no sense or would never happen, but hey it is supposed to be entertainment.
