Yes, I enjoyed the first one. And even the original still holds up. It's a bit dated but a classic. I'm a huge Stephen King fan. He has a new book out today "The Institute." And Doctor Sleep (the Shining sequel) comes out later this Fall although I don't have high hopes for that one. This guy must be rolling in dough. He was a best seller back in the 70s. Just about every book and story he has written has been made into a movie. Sometimes for good and sometimes for ill.

Pt two reminded me of the miniserises,,,the kid cast _and I do not like kids in movies- was better then the adults,,,disapointment
