Since Saturday i want to find out more about the Crimea/charge of LB!.Am about to order a couple of books from Osprey on the subject.I find them very good for giving you a basic grounding in the facts and a good resource for uniform identification.Up to now i have only two collections of toy soldiers.WW1(Toy army workshop)and WW2 (K&C).So Charge LB will be a new direction in my collecting.I now suddenly find myself wanting to know more about previous conflicts the British empire were involved in.Was just wondering if anyone else has had their interest fired by a collection.

I laminated the picture Andy signed for me and put it on the wall of my office.Looking at it I think the quality of K&C's figures go from strength to strength, can't wait for this series to start.

Hi Rob
Was a lot of fun on Saturday for all sorts of reasons but I must admit being back in HK now it all seams a little 'unreal' and I feel a little 'flat' as I wanted the whole day to just carry on.....
I love that we have a whole load of the 'clan' together both from the perspective of the 'Nevilles' and 'King & Country'.........in fact thinking about it the line between the two is very 'blurred' after all these years which I think is very special.
Glad you liked your signed print, what about the pictures of the wife?!?
I will be posting more things about the 'Charge' and 'Crimean' on our site over the next few weeks so keep your eye's open!
Good seeing you again.

Funny you should bring this up...I was a really big WW1 and WW2 uniform collector complete MINT German, British, Canadian, American, Japanese...and I mean complete....I grew tired of the era and wanted stuff a little older and a little more rarer....I think it's onlt natural to want to know more about our past especially older time periods. I should post some uniforms on here some day.

Good to see you too Bob.(and your Dad,Mum,,Tony and all the K&C crew) It really was an enjoyable evening, could have happily stayed into the wee hours for some more wine but had to get back to Bedfordshire.Although 2005 at the IWM was set in magnificent surroundings i think this years do had such a fun atmosphere.(you made a very good MC Bob!)I have said somewhere else on this forum that the rappor/relationship between K&C UK/Customers/Andy is really good.It makes collecting/buying very easy.it was also good to meet Andy again and put some names to faces. Will look forward to next years do and i might have even convinced the wife to come next time, although this could limit my spending budget!.

Will look forward to hearing about the Charge soon. All the best
