I've noticed that nothing has been made for the Iwo Jima sets in a while, and no sets have been added to the Russians for about 4 years or something...?:confused::eek::eek:

I can understand that the Iwo Jima sets have rather large spaces before new ones are brought out, but the Russians.......?:eek::eek:

Does anyone actually buy the Russian figures, they don't really seem that popular:eek::confused::eek:

I bought all the Berlin sets including the Russians. That was actually why I started collecting KC. I think Andy is moving toward generic German figures that can be used either on the western or eastern front. Hopefully that means more russians are in the works. At the very least, some nice tanks like the JS-2 could be made.

I have felt the same way. This weekend, I sold all my Berlin Russians and my lone Iwo piece, the Chi Ha. I have decided that my collection is too big in re to WW2 and am cutting loose those theaters. Not to say my interest in those eras is waning, I will read books about them and all, it's just nothing is going there. When the flag raising is retired, I will grab that without a second thought- far too iconic a piece to let it slip by.

I enjoy the MG figures immensely and will try to complete that line. Otherwise, it's DDay and Normandy for me. That is what my family really enjoys- me personally, I have moved more towards collecting ancients- Rome and Greece and Egypt.

The NA figures are still up in the air. Right now, it's just way too AK intensive to make it interesting. Pop a Crusdar in there, more Italians and some new British grunts and I will probably be sold. I dunno, comes down to funds and where they go I guess.

I'd say you may have been decieved by the labeling but I would say both the German T-34 and the Elephant are both concessions to the russian front fans.

I also would like more Iwo & Russians, but I personally have heard Andy say several times that the Marines, Japs and Russians are not big sellers.
So take it for what it,s worth. I personly don,t see any of the above in the near future.
