Thanks for posting the photos. Most of them are unknown to me, also. The camp scenes after the banzai attack are particularly gruesome but blunt examples of the Pacific War. I like the aircraft photos of the P-51's and B-29's. -- lancer

I am working on a model kit by Verlinden. It is a vignete of 2 crew at a waistgunners post in a B17. This project saw me doing more research of the air war. The bomber crew stats are deadly. anyway this is how I found these pics. All the cool action poses in the toy soldier world, and no one has captured the drama in the tail or belly gun of a bomber doing a daylight raid withot fighter support. My toughts will be with the fallen aircrew next remembrance day!
