Hi everyone. New to the forum, at least posting, that is. Been reading for about a year or so now for new release dates & seeing some cool collections. I thought I had better get in the game.

Here is some Jacobites attacking a British soldier who is not going to see the end of the day, me thinks.

These figures are weathered w/ gauche watercolor to get that grimy look. The flag is a scan of the existing flag off the Internet that I made w/ PhotoShop; similar to the flags from Flag Dude (used as inspiration.) Vegetation is real moss from the back yard. Great stuff comes out of the back yard at no cost.

Thanks to Mike Miller for his help in loading the images. I only hope they work!

Glenn...glad you figured it out...your weathering technique looks great...this battle was fought on a boggy marshland and at times the charging Jacobites were deep in it...very realistic effect you have given dirtying your figures......love your groundwork and flag too...can't believe you took that out of your back yard...the clover is soooooo tiny...

Welcome to forum. Outstanding pics. The figures look great dirtied up. -- Al

OOOH, Samwise....absolutely welcome to the forum. I just love what you did with the flag, Most creative and the weathering and foliage add so much. A pleasure to view your work, please keep these little jewel like vignettes coming.
