I just wanted to take a moment to say how impressed I am with John's figures from the Jacobite Rebellion. The highlanders are especially well done and went way beyond my expectations. I was fortunate enough to be able to buy 77 figures offered by Konrad from the Treefrog classifieds which included 35 highlanders, 35 - 4th Regiment of Foot, and 7 Royal Ecossois Regiment. I am basically a traditional, glossy 54 mm collector. However, prior to this purchase, I had bought, mostly from Treefrog, John's complete Battle of Leuthen vignette which I also found to be outstanding. My good friend Bob W. liked mine so much, that when Konrad offered this vignette on Treefrog, that I was able to buy it on his behalf.

I should receive today, from the JJD French and Indian War series, 33 marching figures from the 35th Regiment of Foot which were also purchased from Konrad from the Treefrog classifieds. Can't wait to see them!

Have always thought the JJD's Jacobite Rebellion series was his best. The color and animation is unmatched. You got some fantastic figures at a great price. Congratulations. -- Al

and you want to see some attention to detail...
look under the kilt of a few of these figures...^&grin

I am very glad to hear that you do like the figures you received.
As others have said, the Jacobite Highlanders are outstanding among John’s work, and I am very sure that you will appreciate them.
I know you are a mainly traditional glossy collector but you know a good Toy Soldier when you see one :wink2:
Another thing I like about our transactions, I can rest assured that all the figures are now in the hands of a dedicated collector and enhance a great collection.

You are right, I did get one heck of a deal from Konrad. I am a first time collector of this series and I didn't think to look under the kilts. Hmm, I guess I had better be careful when I show these to my 10-year-old granddaughter.
