Hey guys. I;m taking a trip into the city tomorow and I'm probably gonna stop by at Jan's.

Just one problem. I've heard some of the people who work there are kind of degrading.

So if you guys have ever been there can you tell me about your experience.

Never heard of the place before. Do they sell toy soldiers, or are they more of a modelers shop?

Never heard of it, but remember-the hobby is heavily populated with characters. You're more likely to get some color, than warm, fuzzy customer service.

Biggest issue appears to be they do not like to take debit or visa.

It's mostly a modeling shop and the owners have always had a great reputation, very knowledgable and eager to share.

There are characters in all hobbies who try to pull the one-ups and treat "newbies" like crap but don't let them get to you if you encounter them. Remember - they're more affraid of you than you are of them...
