The below images were dioramas entered in the Diorama competition held in Brisbane on 9th July. Other diorama entries can be seen in the Brisbane K&C Collectors dinner thread.

Jungle patrol ...A

Bamboo hut in a box ...B

Japanese attacking ...C

The maker of Jungle patrol did well in the overall competition and this was one of three he entered. This was the one that did not win anything.
The bamboo hut diorama in the box was unusual in the sense that the maker incorporated his dio inside a box. The inside of the box was covered with good background imagery which can't really be seen in the pics taken. This box was basically the size the diorama makers had to work with and the size rule was that the diorama must be able to fit in the box (either way up).
The Japanese attacking was made by Mark IV.

The box idea certainly makes the diorama portable. Really like the Japanese theme. This would have got my vote as very original. Robin.

Thanks for posting Wayne, it's certainly a novel and great concept Bob thought up with the dio size. I think the corrugated iron shed dio is the stand out below.
