I started collecting the K&C BR series Indians...I think they blend really well with the Jenkins Design Indians.

Most people who know my posts already know that right now I'm pretty hooked on Indians and FIW.

I have bought BR042...BR044...BR046...BR051...BR052 and BR053.

This is K&C's BR053...This Gun Is Mine...

Randy thanks for posting a picture of this guy from K&C last month...I didn't know he existed and got him in a sell off this week.

Yeah, Mike these were some pretty good figures. I had a couple of them and also thought they mixed will with JJ's Indians. So many good Eastern Woodland Indians to choose from these days makes me a bit envious as I am partial to the Northern Plains Tribes where there is so little to choose from. I am eager to see the Senecas and Stockbridges and so on that you mentioned in your other thread. Perhaps I'll cave. Again........

This is...

K&C's BR044...Kneeling Indian With Rifle...he came with a gloss finish on his skin which I didn't like so I gave him a coat of clear matte spray

a JJD figure from WIM05 Woodland Indians Advancing

I am very anxious to see the Senecas...John spoke in some detail about their non traditional Indian garb and unusual facial war paint...he seems excited about them.

I have a little trouble with the K&C paint job on this warriors chest...the bikini tan marks...you really don't see them until you take a close up like this...but they really bug me cause I know they are there...I may try to match the paint and tone it down...hehehehe...I don't know...

This is K&C's BR051...Mounted Indian

with

a JJD figure from BM14...Braddock...

At first glance...the K&C figure looks huge next to the Jenkins...but if you notice...Braddocks steed's hind legs are buckled and bent hard while the Indians steed's legs are straight and erect.

I think K&C's BR051 is one of the best FIW figures on the market today...he is one of the favorite pieces in my FIW collection.

Whoever sculpted this figure struck a nerve for me...the captured guns, satchels, canteens, bedroll, jacket, hat, flag...etc...

It just pushes my buttons to think how many soldiers died to build his plunder.

I like all of K&C's FIW Indians...they seem to go well with JJD...

BR043...BR045...BR047 and BR058 are all discontinued...I don't own them but would probably get them if they came up somewhere.

I suspect in time you will find the rest of these too, Mike. :)

I like very much your K&C-JJD mix. I made my own mix on a smaller diorama. If you are interested in, please check my album "french indian war"
best regards Marcus
