I am new to the forum just wanted some opinions of the JJ figures. I think they are the best figures on the market right now. Correct that second best as Aeroart St. Petes collection are the best only can a afford five or six of them per year though. But when it comes to K@C Conte Britians etc JJ figures are better and there in limited sets. Finally someone who understands collectability. We collect because we want to but sure is fun to have something worth some money that not everyone else has. Conte and Frontline please retire some figures! This is probably way over board for my first post. Oh well Hello to all!

Welcome to the TF forum Apache. I don't know if F&IW is your sole interest, but for really nice sculpting, paintwork and affordability K&C UK's Crimea range is definitely worth checking out.

If you are interested in the French and Indian war check out the new Britains line on this subject. They are glossy and smaller than JJ figures but the sculpting, painting and detail are superb. The new Royal Artillery set is unequled in its beauty. Ken & Ericka Osen of WB do terrific work and are open to suggestions from collectors. I also collect Jenkins and John is an extraordinary person and very customer/collector oriented. These days FIW is a great place to be.
