I have to say that I have really enjoyed all of the latest releases that John has come out with this year.

What I was wondering was if anyone has heard what the first 2012 club set box will be? It is the end of June. The year is half over and nothing has been posted. I am interested to see what the sets will be like this year. They have always been nice sets.

Just wondering that's all.

Or better still ... The pack horses that John was seen showing on his work desk. :) much much more versatile to fit almost all JJD's ranges.

Yep after these too, not much chance given all the series John has to choose from though. Cheers, Robin.

(1) George Washington in his long red coat !!!

far, far distant second

(2) Lt. Col Thomas Gage

I like the pack horse too. Can go with the Spanish, French, British. Pretty much all his ranges except ACES. Don't recall seeing too many near the airfields

Any British War 1812 officer would do nicely, especially an Artillery officer.
But the pack horses would be very unique. -- Larry

Seeing that John has now ventures to the Iberian Penninsular in 1809, then whay not have the British Commander?

Major General Robert "Black Bob" Craufurd

He would make a fine figure :)

Also with the 7 Years War and the Battle of Leuthen, why not Frederick the Great, or one of his commanders???

Hows that for 'thinking outside the box' ?????

I'd like to see legendary war photographer Robert Capa, who took this iconic image of a Loyalist soldier as he was struck by the bullet that killed him in the Spanish Civil War. Could be used in a Spanish Civil War set up or even an early WW2 dio as a civilian photojournalist / reporter
