At present I'm converting a few Del Prado Balearic Slinger figures that Emilio originally sculpted into Jewish rebels.
Now Kronprinz continues to produce these Balearic Slingers though with improvements over the Del Prado ones in his own Roman line.
The Roman range that Emilio and Kronprinz produce are size compatible with TG, FL, K&C.
Perhaps if enough people would be interested, Emilio would be willing to sculpt and produce some Israelites, Zealots etc.
So putting thought into action, I've start this thread to see if it would be viable and worthwhile for Emilio to consider producing some by how much feedback he gets from this.
Say slinger, Spearmen, Archer, swordsmen in action poses. Even someone just throwing rocks to oppose the Romans would be good.

If you like the idea, please add to this thread, Perhaps this could even be crowd funded !

Yes, figures of the Jewish Rebellion would be a great addition to Roman series. I would love to build a siege of Jerusalem diorama. Both FL and JG have ancient walls and towers that can be used for Jerusalem along with K&C's wonderful LOJ buildings.

I think it's a great idea. As I am also thinking about expanding the series of Rome and its enemies, the theme of the Zealots is very interesting, in addition to Herodian soldiers, Samaritan auxiliaries etc
I would also like to be able to pay more attention to the legions at the end of the republic and the Augustan period, and to the Gauls of Vercingetorix, the Germans of Arminius and the Britons of Boudicca.

Emilio,
Attached is a photograph of some scales that were unearthed on Masada. I don't do ancients, however, in this case never say never.

P.S. If you wanted to make segments of the seige camps around Masada, or the circumvallation (sp) wall that is possible too.

All works in progress using Del prado figures, since they're not expensive doesn't really matter if I make a big mistake. My conversions are obviously not up to a manufacturers standard, where Kronprinz will take up hopefully, but better than the nothing that is available at present!
Spears, Swords, Shields etc can be Roman reused by the rebels.

Same figures with final colour schemes completed. Stripes you need a steadier hand than mine for I've decided !:)
Might have to change the weapon of the Orange tunic Slinger, but that's for another time.
