Sorry that you got excited but I'd like to see them too and did this scene, part of a short story I posted on another thread.
TG might be surprised at how popular Jewish revolt figures would be welcomed by those collecting their Roman Empire line !

I have really loved some of the Roman figures lately -- TGM, JJD, and K&C have ALL done great pieces. I think some Jewish slingers and spearmen would be great!

There are some great diorama opportunities for the Jewish Revolt......sieges of Jerusalem and Masada.....ambushes in the hills, deserts and villages.
Some scenes from Ben Hur!

While I would love to see Masada, a diorama might be a little too... big.

The quintessential subject would be Shimon bar Kochba, but someone could just produce a bunch of generic Israelites and a few leaders from different revolts. There could be a few Zealots and Sicarii as well.

Instead of Jews and Romans, approx 1850 years later, Arabs this time not liking what the British are doing in that poor woe begot land !
