Hello there,
Would anybody be able to help me identify these tough guys? I've got about twenty of them, in a collection of toys that start around 1940 up to the 70's..
I know they are JIM musketeers, because it says so at the bottom. But are they of a specific series, a specific year eg?
Or am I totally in the wrong place to ask. Do say so if I am!
Thank you all very much.

You're in the right place for modern plastics, and maybe for vintage US and British plastic production. For French and other continental vintage plastic, there's a better forum:
https://soldatplastique-1-32.forumgratuit.org/forum

Brian Carrick's excellent blog Collecting Toy Soldiers put me on to that. He also posted about a book documenting the JIM company: https://toysoldiercollecting.blogspot.com/2013/05/new-book-soldats-pastiques-cyrnos-et-jim.html

Please keep posting pictures here, though. It's always a pleasure to see unusual (to us) toy soldiers.

Hello Mike,
That is very helpful. Thank you very much! I will stick around here too, it is actually a lot of fun identifying these little men.
And now, I am going to try my best French (uh-oh) on the soldatplastique site.
