I have to dust the shelves and I have some of that railroad base and a back drop, so I figured I would throw a quick diorama up.
My original idea was to have about 10 of the JJD DR1s in a line about to take off like the scene in the Blue Max on a 4x8 table.
I added a few TG sets and K&C before John started to produce new German ground crew.
Goes back in the case tonight but before, Here's Johnny.... IMG_2605.JPGIMG_2604.JPGIMG_2603.JPGIMG_2601.JPG

Love it. There is an incredible amount of activity going on. A very impressive display of John's aircraft and figures. The triplane takeoff line is fantastic and the photos are from an angle that shows off some very neat details. Well done, sir.:salute:: -- Al

Thank you. Yes it is a bit hectic due to the the smaller table now being used.
The only thing I have really missed since down sizing is the old toy soldier basement.

I love it!:D The terrific thing about Jenkins' GGC and BGC sets is that there are very few of them that don't mesh fairly seamlessly with the rest. They're similar in that respect to JJD's French Poilu sets, and when you set them all up...darned impressive! Oh, and I'm gonna "borrow" your idea for displaying these characters:

I really like the way that the cargo changes the profile of the truck. Thanks!:salute::

This is one fantastic set up!! There's something about seeing our little works of art set up in mass, whether it be an infantry firing line, horses charging or this line up of planes that you've done!

You were very creative in setting this up. Like the others have said, there is lots of action going on.

As Moe pointed out, the guys loading the truck is a great new twist on things--well done.

Mark

Thanks all.
I had a image of a few mechanics recovering a engine from a crashed plane, and it seem to work well.

great job, I have had similar thought on making a Jenkins diorama , I just have to get totally moved back in and clear all the junk out of my basement. I have 3 4x8 tables I will be able to put together. great job, and you gotta love the triplanes
