Dear All,
Just a quick reminder of the times and activities for the JJD 2nd Annual Asia Event on Tuesday evening. Please try to get involved in some way, there are plenty of international prizes and lots of questions being answered - we'll be posting about 20 question of the great many that were submitted.
First off - WHERE ON THE INTERNET?
Although the Asian collectors will be in Plat du Jour, John's favourite bar in Hong Kong, the event will for the most part also exist through the TOY SOLDIER COLLECTOR ASIA Facebook page which can be found HERE. Although the event won't be live streamed throughout - there will be constant updates through text, picture and video throughout the evening.
'ASK JOHN' Q&A SESSION
7:00pm to 9:00pm Hong Kong Time, 12:00pm to 2:00pm London time, 7:00am to 9:00am New York time, 9:00pm to 11:00pm Sydney time
During these 2-hours, John will answer about 20 questions that have been submitted over the past few days. Most of the answers will be text, but we are trying to figure out if we can do something a little bit more 21st century. Watch that space
We know that not everyone has a Facebook account and would love it if someone could copy/paste and questions/answers that are given on Facebook here or other forums. There will however be a comprehensive list of questions and answers posted here in the next few days, plus any follow up John would like to add.
'SNEAK PEEKS'
7:00pm to 9:00pm Hong Kong Time, 12:00pm to 2:00pm London time, 7:00am to 9:00am New York time, 9:00pm to 11:00pm Sydney time
Somewhow, whilst also inputting all of the questions and answers, there will be a huge amount of multi-tasking going on (questions, answrs, beer, wine, food) and a number of 'SNEAK PEEKS' of upcoming releases will be previewed. The number of 'PEEKS' won't be decided until later in the day, but it's already known that there are some eagerly awaited pieces in there.
'INTERNATIONAL OPEN QUIZ'
9:15pm TO 10:15 Hong Kong Time, 2:15pm to 3:15pm London time, 9:15am to 10:15am New York time, 11:15pm to 12:15Am Sydney time
This quiz is only open to those members of John's collecting community who are outside of Hong Kong. There will be multiple winners.
Provisionally, winners will be broken down into THE AMERICAS, EUROPE AND AFRICA, EVERYWHERE ELSE.
Answers will ONLY be accepted through the TOY SOLDIER COLLECTOR ASIA FACEBOOK GROUP.
Questions will be posted about every 15 minutes and all respondents get their names shoved into a wine glass. You can only win once.

This will take place straight after the INTERNATIONAL OPEN QUIZ
The caption contest will be open to ALL respondents and engtries will be open until the 21st August 2018
