Interesting structure Mike of your usual high standard.:salute::
What gave you the inspiration for this one ?
I guess it's the staircase that kind of makes me think some of the JJD Aztec's would look good defending / attacking.

John did this range so well in depth, never thought I would be collecting this army, but they were simply to good to resist. They come up well in your structure Mike. Well done. Robin.
 
I love the JJD WWI French Infantry (Poilus) as well! Great poses and a complete range of figures, including the various wounded soldiers. I got a few of these figures to accompany the Saint-Chamond and Schneider tanks in my collection where I have them in little viginette dioramas... Still need to get a couple of the wounded soldiers though.
