JJD UK trees - any comments? (1 Viewer)

Hello, anyone bought or seen any of the JJD UK trees? How do they compare to JG? I'm looking to have a woodland scene for some newly acquired indians and a cabin. Any feedback welcome. Cheers.

Those are great looking and I think for those in the UK, a very good price. I would buy a lot for my game table, but I like the look of woodland scenic trees so they will have to do.

Thanks for the responses, although checking the website most seem to be out of stock. I will take the plunge once JJD UK get back from their next logging trip.

I had a look at the JJD trees at the London show in December and I was impressed with them and they were good value. The guys said that they came without bases so they needed to be pushed into a diorama base or the modeler would have to create their own tree bases.
They said they were looking at making more trees in future with bases included.

Making the bases is no problem. So many things that can be used. I like the ability to stick them into the terrain I am making. While free standing trees are nice, I find that they tend to get knocked down a lot while I am using them. I started putting them on old CDs so I can group them and they will have a bigger base to keep them up right.

Hi, the trees were sourced by James and Adam exclusively for JJD UK. I'm sure they would be only to pleased to ship to the US.
I had a good look at the trees at the December London Toy Soldier Show - and they look pretty good to me.

I have attached a few pics from the show - to give an idea what they look like.
