Hi Romario,

Welcome to the forum. I own the tank and just measured it for you. It's approx. 6" long, 3" wide, and just a little over 3" from bottom to top of turret (without figure).

It's a little guy (probably the smallest tank among my collection) but has a nice three-color camo pattern and average detail. Good weathering. Turret is movable. The figure is just okay (doesn't look very Asian but pose isn't too bad). Not to get into a price debate but IMO, a little on the high side at $189. I believe I read that another variation may be released but that does not always happen. I would like to see a few Japanese without bases or sitting for placement on the tank - one never knows.

Hope this helps you.

Here's a few pictures to help you see it better:

G'day Rob,
Many thanks for posting some of your great pix of our Japanese tank.

Now, as to your opinion that the price of this little gem was a tad too high ...My apologies...

Alas the workers in China are no longer satisfied with just being rewarded with a bowl of rice...a pair of free chopsticks and the occasional sound thrashing from the 'Foreign Devils'...Ah for the good old days!

Best wishes and happy collecting,
Andy.

I'm rapt in my K&C Japanese tank. I thought it was a perfect compliment to my jungle scene. Regards Greg.

Hi Andy, many of my pictures, compliments, and suggestions to you and K&C seem to get quickly bumped or few to no responses, but I had a feeling my price comment would draw a response. Almost removed it after posting. You know I love your products and have a small fortune invested in my K&C collection, a hobby that I really enjoy. I try to be fair and honest in all my comments and generally reserve them to items I own - please note that I still bought this little guy. Most of my collection is from the past few years only (missed out on those "good old days" that you mentioned) and have paid some very high costs from the 2nd hand market for pieces that I really wanted. Still looking for a few.

I doubt that I will ever visit you in Hong Kong but if I ever do, I'd love to help negotiate those manufacturing costs. You mentioned a bowl of rice and a pair of free chopsticks. I'd throw in a few sugar cubes. {sm4}

Thank you for taking the time to acknowledge my pictures and comments.

Very Respectfully,

Greg, Steve, Harrie: fantastic images! Most impressive Pacific dioramas.

My own modest tabletop photographed just a few minutes ago. Think I'm running out of space on my table.

EDIT: I am up-to-date on the new USMC (excluding March dispatches which are not yet available).
EDIT: This topic has turned into a neat little thread.
