I saw this figure RTA055 on the King & Country website and something about him caught my interest, so I bought him.
I primarily collect WW2 figures, so JOE was a big change for me.
A figure with 2 rifles was very interesting.
Maybe it was the story of him below his picture on the K&C website, here it is
The Negro slave of Col.Travis,
Joe fought along side his master during the final assault.
He survived the battle, being spared by the Mexicans.
He ended up escorting fellow survivors Susanna Dickenson & her young daughter.
