John Glenn passes at age 95 (1 Viewer)

A good man! I had the honor and privilege to hear him speak about reconciling his belief in God with his allegiance to science.
He argued for "evolution" to be taught in all public schools when it was not popular among many in this country.
In all ways he was a true patriot and a decent human being.

Gents,

Would it not be cool if a Manufactuer made Space Figures. That would be cool.

Although, I have a narrow collecting range (K&C AWI, K&C JN, K&C USMC and JJD Indians) I would hop on that series in a second.

The Mercury, Gemini and Apollo capsules wouldn't' be to hard but I challenge Andy to do a full scale Saturn Rocket or the Shuttles. The Luna module (Eagle) would be a MUST have.

For a moon diorama I could just clean out the ashes from my fireplace.

Larry...LARRRRRY!

My friend I am right there with you man. I mean the "Right Stuff" was a flick I adored as a kid and the stories behind the Mercury program are incredible. I mean talk about "Authentic hand made history" that line would be HYUGE. In my opinion. Oh, and we cannot forget the Cosmonauts and the chimpazee Special Edition figure.

Evening John ... well there are TWO of us that would be in for that series but I wonder if there are any others.

I know the first thought would be .... Well gee, they're not soldiers!!! Yes, true, but neither is Streets of Hong Kong; Life of Jesus; World of Dickens; and Robin Hood (to some degree).

I guess I'll have to be satisfied with my Monogram and Revell Kits and some of my Diecast.
