Hi all,

Just received the new JJ sets yesterday. Very nice. They just get better and better. As others on this forum have commented, British Grenadiers are exquisite and the CPT Beaujeau Death set is outstanding. I only have one minor quibble about the British Battalion Gun (actually about all artillery). Please manufacture the gun w/wheels that are already attached. The JJ set has three pieces (two wheels and gun/trail). For permanent display this is fine, but for us who move or pick up pieces to admire, this is a problem. For all that, I plan on buying another set! Waiting patiently on more French and the Highlanders for October!

Solve that problem with a drop of glue. I perfer the wheels to be able to come off, so I have the choice of displaying it with a broken wheel if I wanted.

This cannon has been my first purchase of a John Jenkins piece and I must admit I love the cannon. Great detail.

Use blue tac or Elmer's also makes a sticky substance that's white and won't harm the paint. Available at Staples and most craft stores
