these are cheap, cheap, cheap...

very inexpensive...

I'm starting a new range of JJD...

Very cool. If you ever get the chance, read William Prescott's "The History of the Conquest of Mexico." One of the great military histories. Very long but a real pager turner.

I would love to see these turned into 54mm - please let this be a new line at some point:)

Michael,

They don't come painted. That's the only drawback. I have thousands of 28mm figures ranging from American Revolution to the Sudan. I might even have some of John's terricata (sp?) warriors in 28mm.

A painted version of these to the standard of what John has in 60mm would be around 20 dollars each. That includes the cost of the figure plus basing and shipping.

Here, I'm moving away from 28mm because I'm tired of painting. But for massed battle set ups that don't take up a lot of room and look great. I also like Eureka's figure ranges. Very nice stuff from them.

Matthew

Conquistadores and Aztecs in 54/60mm would be fantastic!
Morgan Miniatures has a range but very expensive (made in the UK) and limited poses. I think John should try a limited release to see how this flies.

Thanks for the post, Mike, and for reminding - at least ME! - that John does other things besides 54mm!

These are some great little figures.
