Saw the new JJD Boat on the Grey Goose stand at the London show and it looked excellent. Not an expert but I think there could be a second version with the sailors holding the oars upright! Or would the oars have been too heavy?

It really was the best thing at the show,

The oars would be raised as they approached a ship or land. John has mentioned that he is thinking about a set of figures that you could use with the oars raised.

If push came to shove, I would use artistic licence and simply lean the oars back up against their shoulders, fairly sure the position of the hands would be overlooked by most. Robin.
