Just received JJD's new SYW Prussian officer and Native Americans for camp scene.
His sculpts just keep getting better! The animation on the Prussian officer is a piece of art.
The young Native Americans are sculpted to perfection in both body and facial recreation.
So now John's figures are among the best in the industry and at the same time his planes and vehicles set the highest standards.
How does one man do all this? I know he is not Italian but maybe somewhere in his genetic history there is a bit of Michaelangelo and DaVinci.

This is an outstanding summation of the work John is doing. From figures to vehicles to airplanes, nobody is doing finer work in all categories. :salute:: -- Al

I have my Native sets on the way and now I can't wait to see them.
I really hope that John continues on this "camp live" series for a while as I can see a huge potential.
I agree with the praise for John's creativity and skills.

Ric...Al...Larry...

all three of you are right...

the new JJD..."First Shooting Lesson"...is a masterpiece...

John is the "king of storytelling sets"...

he is really creative in making sets of figures that tell a short story...

these 2 sets are sooooooooo cool...

the facial expression of the child holding his ears...

the "wonky way" the adolescent is holding the rifle without even placing the butt against his shoulder...

the "bored look" of the adult...

that is a nice little story...

my 2 sets are on the way...
