Good morning from Northern California, and welcome to this months Trivia Competition. This is as occasional competition we are running.

The End of Summer Caption Contest.

Here we thought we would have a little fun, now that we have nothing to do with the Olympics Finished and after having Wales win medals, brilliant!.

So we have 4 questions.

1. Looking at the picture what figure is John Painting, best guesses acceptable.

2. What T shirt is John wearing and why? There are 2 answers for this question.

3. How many medals did Wales win in 2012!, what color medals.

4. When will we be posting the next set of new releases?

So there may be a prize for the winner, just possibly! What is the prize, good question we will let you know when we figure it out. Depends how good the answers are!

Sorry Mike...I stole your Sharks answer! I'll swap you for the Olympic answer!!! I got it from the BBC Olympic website anyway..shhhh

Fraxinus...I would NEVER copy anybodys answers (Well apart from Mikes that is!!!)

NB Its a long shot but maybe the next releases will be announced in September

Ok guys, let me join this co-operative, I second what Pete, Mike and Fraxinius say, if we share a figure, I'd like the bottom left hand leg please. (can never have too many left legs)
I'd never have got the T-shirt question, so perhaps I should reduce my share to just a foot? ;)

Crossing my fingers for tomorrow! Can't wait!

Now hold on! I would NEVER steal any answers from anybody, honest. Well maybe from Mike, but he would have stolen mine if I'd posted first, but I wouldn't steal answers from anybody else....hmm, well maybe from.........

Yes, if anybody wins then I think we should share the spoils equally. But after the way John cheated {eek3} :) with the taxi question, I doubt anybody will win anyway. WE would never cheat.....would we?

For all of you waiting with baited breath, we are pleased to announce the answers to this months quiz.

So we had 4 questions.

1. Looking at the picture what figure is John Painting, best guesses acceptable. We believe it was the first figure of a Ticonderoga Highlander.

2. What T shirt is John wearing and why? There are 2 answers for this question. The T shirt was given to him at the Sierra Toy Soldier Open House, by we believe Chris, who is now in exile for having to much fun, location New Zealand!. The second answer was because John lived in Canada, hence love of French and Indian wars and you have to love hockey to live in Canada.

3. How many medals did Wales win in 2012!, what color medals. This answer is from John's Mum. According to Johns mum the medal winners are all British. They are only from Wales if they don’t win. Tricky those Welsh!

4. When will we be posting the next set of new releases? That was hard, but you know the answer already.

Thanks for joining in, no winner this month, apart from John's mum.
