watching McCain's funeral this morning...
very touching...
what I consider a true American hero...
reading his Wikipedia is fascinating...
he was wounded, battered and tortured til his hair turned white...
 
I didn’t always agree with him, and thought he made a few missteps but never questioned his passion and desire to do the right thing. In fact, I appreciated that he wasn’t always the polished and afraid to take chances type of politician.

We will miss him.
 
I don’t want to start or get into any political discussion, even more so because I’m not American, but just state that I deeply admire men like John McCain, which unfortunately are becoming fewer and fewer in the world’s political arena.
