Did anyone who attended the show ask John if his plastic project is still in the works or any other info in regards to it. It is impossible to reach him by phone or email.

I spoke to him at the Gettysburg Show and he told me both projects are on hold until further notice.

Sorry for the bad news, but it is what it is.

Well file that in the never to be done basket. As with all plastic projects, until item is in my hand don't count on it.

...Who is John Stengal ???

Stengel is a vendor, Mirof. He trades under the name of The Marx Man. He is also a show promoter, staging a couple of toy soldier shows throughout the year. As his trade name suggests, he specializes in plastic toy soldiers.

For the record, he's always been hard to get a hold of. We always have a heck of a time getting him to respond for our show, too.

Prost!
Brad

I traveled with John to this show, and he was busy working on his sculpts the whole time. He absolutely is going forward with the project, but as with all things toy soldiers, schedules are often difficult to maintain. I am looking forward to seeing the finished products, as the masters I saw were excellent.
