Riders are sent out from the Continental Congress on a hot summers day in July, 1776.
"It's Independence, Independence." they shout as they ride from town to town.
They use the back roads, take shortcuts through the fields to spread the word.
The British won't take kindly to the news.

"Hear Ye! Hear ye!"

"The United States of America is born today."

Evening NEVINSRIP,
If it is American Revolution you got my attention. (See the King and Country folder and my thread "Just - American Revolution")

Really like the action you got in the riders and the backwoods feeling you mentioned ... very nice!

Love to see more.

History Fact:
July 2nd Adams announces to the world we are free and Independent. John Adams wrote that July 2 would be celebrated as the most memorable epoch in the history of America. He was wrong ...:redface2:

July 4th - Congress accepts the final draft of the Declaration, edited by Jefferson and votes to adopted.

August 2nd - The Declaration is signed ... well almost everybody did it on that day. A few delayed for a couple of week later
