Hi all,

Recieved my newsletter today from First legion and was a little surprised to hear that the 3 varations of Halftracks will we one and done, Matt mentioned due to the difficult construction of these sets that this would be a one time deal and no further remakes once these sell out speaking of which he said that 60 % are already sold and to grab them if you want to buy one, on the other hand he mentioned another round of IV's due out for pre-order soon, lots of news in this letter as well as a few sneak peeks...Sammy

Yeah, very glad to hear about another chance to snag the PkwIV's-I'd taken my collecting off-line for several months, heard about 'em, saw the release and figured I'd have plenty of time to grab 'em...then poof, they're gone. Not making the same mistake with the 251's {sm4}.
...gotta admit, those winter Naps and the Roman scorpio/Praetorians are making me wonder if I should add another line (yikes)...

glad to hear First Legion are making a second run of the IV's and sounds like the Halftracks are selling through very quickly as well, just imagine if FL drops a Tiger/Panther on us!!?? they'd be gone in a day!! collectors these days have to pick/choose what they want to add to thier collections (prices aren't dropping) and this just shows how well that First Legion has grabbed a share of the toy soldier market with the success of the IV's and now the Halftracks, congrats to all at FL on some top notch vehicles...Sammy

With missing the first batch of the Panzer IV short barrels I really hoped I have a bit of time to add the one 251 I really want as well {sm2}. I guess buying plans will have to be shuffled again. I'm happy for the success of FL and not a bit surprised, But don't tell Matt I liked it better when items were in stock for years allowing a die hard Napoleonic collector time to pick away at the WWII things I wanted.

Does this also mean that there won't be any other versions of the 251's made ? I had visions on a Normandy camoed SS version..

No, the reference in the newsletter was only meant to apply to the currently produced gray variants. We will still make versions for other theaters, but we're not going to make more for Stalingrad. Apologies for the confusion!
