Its nearly that time of the month guys. When we get all excited and agitated and our minds wander to whats coming up!.

So what do you think is coming next.If we look at where we are halfway through the yearly release timetable it may give us a clue.We have just had some excellant 8th Army sets announced,we are perhaps too early for Arnhem and Bulge. So maybe some more FJ's?.I was also wondering that as all the British D Day sets have been retired maybe some reinforcements for that part of the front may be iminent. What do reckon guys?

I'm hoping new American Revolution continentals. But, I'd settle for an Afrika Corp 88.:D Yeah, like that's gonna happen anytime soon. :(

Also, to avoid confusion perhaps we shouldn't title threads "Month-whatever Dispatches" unless it's the real deal. Perhaps something like "July Dispatch Speculation" or whatever is a better for the pre-dispatch thread.

I've rolled the bones and consulted the chicken entrails. My confident prediction is that on 1st July K&C will announce the long-awaited new Mongol and Trojan War Ranges.

Are you serious? About the Mongol and Trogan War ranges I mean, not the chicken entrails.

Why not Kurt? Would make a nice and colourful change from endless WWII releases. Not that I've anything against WWII releases - and I'd welcome even more new Desert War EA and AK sets, but Trojan War, Mongols and even French Foreign Legion and some Arab opponents would be nice as well.

Cheers

I'd love some French Foreign Legion,as a kid i had Airfix's 1/72 and have wanted some ever since!

Harry you've got it wrong. If you would have consulted the bones and rolled the entrails, you would have found the next series will be The Street of the Wild West :D:D:D

Just kidding. You're right, a new serious would be nice. I would definitely be interested in Greeks and their enemies, preferably Carthaginians. War Elephants!! But, I wonder if Greeks would sell better than Romans. They don't seem to be that big of a hit. Not sure about Mongols, though.

Yeah, so did I Rob. :):)
They used to fight off the Arabs from Fort Sahara out in the sandpit my Dad built for us to play in. Bet there are dozens of them still buried there (lost) just waiting for some treasure seeker to dig up.

Cheers

Well hot-diggedy-dang pardner.......I forgot about that one.
I'll take a jump into the Ju-Ju tree next week if this series isn't announced soon.

Yeah I thought you were pulling my leg Kurt.
In reality, EofI have probably cornered the market niche for Greeks, Romans, etc. In fact their Greek and Persian ranges are magnificent IMO. I think Conte does a great range of Spartans as well. Although I don't have any, I'm told that they look better in the flesh, so to speak, than the photo's. So I can probably forget about a Trojan War Range.
I remain convinced that a Mongol Empire range would be a winner though and I do like what I've seen of the Tinbay Mongols.
As well as making me forget about the new Streets Of Old Dodge City range, the bones also failed to reveal any hint of the New North-West Frontier range as well.
Need to go back to those "Shaman" nightclasses I guess.

Cheers
