Great idea! I have also got hooked by the ww2 pacific war in the jungle, but I am just going to make a micro dio with a japanese figarti figure:p.
Wait to see your dio made, I love the jungle dios, and sure they are more difficilt than the usual ones.

next stage
painting the rocks in more detail:
after putting a base coat of grey on the rocks I finished painting part of the rocks to show you the result.
To obtain this result I used :
1.Revell enamel matt grey 75and 45 and brown 84
2.When dry I painted on several washes of brown and green:
first I used AK045 Wash dark brown followed by a Mig wash " brown for German dark yellow vehicles" and when dry I gave the rocks a wash with a coat of AK027 slimy green light and Ak026 slimy green dark .
3. When completely dry I finished with a coat of heavy deluted "Van Dyck Brown" oil paint

The two mountain ridges are ready. Notice the space in between for the mountain river.
Now I will start building and expanding the jungle on top of both ridges and on the sides.
I still have to build the bridge( will be saved for last)
