 OK, the Horch is REAL NICE, but may have to use AK034 ROMMEL, instead of the 'NEW 'Rommel? I would have like to see BAYERLIN, and other DAK Officer's gather for a Battle Conference, under a TENT, in the Desert? Also, the Retired HUMMEL Repainted for TUNISIA , and NEW Crew? If Andy's making Future 'Desert Paras", for the DAK; then please Include Gen.RAMCKE Himself! A NEW Desert' KETTENKRAD', Towing Small Supply Trailer, with 2-Rider's aboard! Possible like to see an 'OPEL MAULTIER' (Halftrack) Cargo Truck? And last, Repaints on the RSO,and KRUPP Protege Truck for DAK? Thankyou, K & C!

Is that like saying "this is a total waste of time ? "

:D ;) :D

Just kidding - Brad :)

Hi Guys,

Does our friend John Gambale ever read any of the posts K&C and others put on the forum? It sure dont look like it& Time and time again I have patiently explained how we do things& why we do things& and when we do things.

I have also tried, in vain it would appear to explain a small fraction of what it takes to run a successful business that tries to meet the hopes, needs and occasionally, the fantasies of a huge range of collectors based all over the world.

I honestly believe the vast majority of those K&C collectors appreciate the fact that we cant supply and they cant afford the constant, never ending lists that John compiles.

As Ive written before no matter what K&C brings out John will come back with a list of wants, wishes and must-haves as long as your arm.

Cmon my friend& slow down!

Best wishes and happy collecting!

Andy C.

Well, I suppose that's a better response for sensitive souls than "Foxtrot Oscar Juliet Golf, you're doing my head in..!!"

Cheers :):)

I used to post a fair few requests and i was part of the 'Arnhem lobby',however i have eased off the requests a bit.Much as its maybe good to get customer feedback it must be a thin line between that and constant bombardment all the time.As well as the fact that its simply not possible to make all these wanted items,i think people forget its Andy's company and he is very able and entitled to make his own choices. This is why my recent poll about armour was prefaced with a note saying it is not a request or lobby of any kind.

As for Johns post,he is obviously passionate about his subject but i'm sure he must realise most of the stuff he lists is just not going to get made.Rather than reading his lists i'd much rather read his thoughts on dispatches every month,he doesn't often seem to post on these.Even if we are dedicated and enthusiastic collectors of K&C we have no right to demand anything, its just plain bad manners.

Ah Rob, no need to be apologetic about polls and lists, customers should be demanding in the nicest possible way:D:D, I must admit to enjoying the lists and posting a few and the odd poll myself. John's list can be educational:),in that sometimes he requests stuff I've never heard of, and I go look it up,e.g. Herman Goring Divison's, Marmaledukes and many obscure vehicles.
As you know, the reason we all post this stuff is cos' we enjoy it, we don't really expect everything to be made but then again "if you throw enough s@#t at the wall some of it might stick":D:D From my perspective plenty of great stuff has already come out , and I currently have my fill of goodies, but we can't fault the still hungry:)

:D Hey Redhugh,my problem is that i'm still very hungry but my credit card has had a fifteen course dinner with a wafer thin mint to follow!:D

No doubting it John does have some good ideas, its just there's loads of them.I know Andy does take notice of whats been said on here but i'm sure he likes a break from ideas every now and then so i've tried to tone it down a bit.Speaking for myself i try to find that balance between reasonable requests and being a King size pain in the a***!(not easy when you are as enthusiastic about the product as i am-its the same with Pasta!!)

I must say i did enjoy the fact that so many people voted on my absurd poll the other day,it shows what a great collective sense of humour there is on here.

Cheers

Rob

Whether or not you like suggestions, a section of the Forum was set up people could make them.

My "suggestion" is that if you don't want to read them, ignore them. It's a person's right to make them and a certain poster is going to make them regardless of what has been said here.

Ditto, Brad!

You guys react like he came to your house and relieved himself on your living room floor. So someone post what he'd like to see-so what?

BTW, I'd like to see more Seven Years War figures. Not French and Indian War, Seven Years War. Prussians, Austrians, Russians, French, and German States. I know it'll never happen, because most collectors seem to think the world started in 1939, and the only Germans who've ever fought anywhere have lightning bolt runes on their collars. But it's what I'd like to see.

So there.

Prosit!

Well put!

Apart from that idea to replace the alphabet, Shaw was a pretty bright fellow.

Prost!

We all have the right to post our views here its a free forum,if we agree or disagree with John it doesn't matter.
