I am culling my collection yet again to make space. This time the British/Commonwealth 8th Army series gets it.

EA 04 25lb gun and 5 crew. Original green K&C box (x2). Alas because the figures are free-standing (ie no bases) some have slight paint loss. Not really noticeable but should be mentioned.

EA 07 Roald Dahl couldn't have picked a better giant. The Matilda is an impressive set. Comes with 3 crew, one of which is a full size figure. Original white K&C box (a little worn), but everything else is in excellent condition.

EA 08 Lt Gen (later Field Marshall) Bernard Montgomery. Original green K&C box. Figure and box in excellent shape.

EA 10 Dingo scout car in Kiwi markings. Excellent piece, will convert you to collecting armoured cars over tanks any day. In original coloured box in as close to mint-in-box condition as you'll find.

EA 14 Indian machine-gun set. Excellent condition in original box.

I'm offering the above as one large lot. I will not sell the Matilda on its own. Feel free to post offers here or PM me. Next week it all goes on eBay.

The Matilda is one tank I couldn't part with. One of my favorites. It fetches good money nowadays.

So, what are you planning to put there in its place?

Me neither, its one of my favourite tanks.Even against the new improving tanks it still stands out.

I need more room than originally envisaged for my Crusaders. (May need to re-examine my BR Woodland Indians and/or my NA Voltigeurs too).

I think the Matilda is probably K&C's best tank from 2002, and certainly stands up well in comparison to more recent production. But some of the EA range don't sell as well as DD or WS and I'm thus not going to sell it in isolation from a wider EA offering.

I love my EA series and have all of them. Something I can't say about my DD and WS collection since I've only been collecting since April 2005.

The Matilda, I didn't know it was produced 5 years ago. Then maybe it was the best tank produced in 2002 because Andy sure has improved all of his tanks and SP's since then.
