Hello Kit, I remember reading a book about you in 4th grade you were quite a character, anyway recently unemployed and spent some time repairing some old K&C Revolution Soldiers. Green coats and red coats Lincolnshire Regiment. I had given them to my son when he was young for Christmas. In the course of battles had broken off most of their musket ends. The soldiers themselves were still in good shape and were very nicely manufactured thought a pity not to try and restore.wrapped thread around existing musket and glued straightened paper clip portions together and painted, didn't turn out too bad. Not exactly marketable items though. These were in old K&C style I think from 1999 some had nothing stamped on the bottom. Still I like them.
