I have made some collection decisions and some of my sets have to go. I offer them on EBay as one sale at retail for the opening bid. They are:
BBA15 “General Inspection”
DD35 US M16 Quad 50 Halftrack
DD49 US Weapons Carrier
DD51 British Churchill Tank

Are you getting out of the hobby, K & C or just changing directions?

Brad, these sales represent a very small portion of my collection (less than 2 or 3 percent). I have decided to collect only Figarti and Collector's Showcase tanks and AFV's. Therefore, I am replacing K&C with Figarti. I know the limited and special editions are unique to K&C, but they are the common tanks (tigers, shermans, etc.) that are being produced at what I consider to be a more refined and precise level of manufacture. The K&C figures (which no maker has been able to dulicate IMO) and vehicles other than common tanks remain in my collection.

I did the same thing with Britains tanks. Had them all, sold'em to collect K&C. Now I am moving on in taste and style selection. Like my signature says, "I love this stuff".

Figarti's stuff is outstanding so you won't be disappointed of course. I just purchased the fording stacks Sherman at OTSN and it's outstanding. I wanted to buy the US Priest but unfortunately had no room, equally nice.

I am already pissed at myself for not being in Chicago and being able to purchase those LCT's. In a way I am glad I wasn't there too (kind of like a schizophrenia-like psychosis of short duration). If I had been there I would have tried to buy the entire beach landing display. But now I have to settle on buying it piece by piece as they are issued. I already sent George my preorder for everything (including one LCT6) that Figarti announced and you posted the other night. Like I said, I love this stuff. Next year I want to be there to meet everyone and reaffirm friendships.
