(WARNING JOKE IN PROGRESS :) WARNING JOKE IN PROGRESS :) )

I thought I would share my display of the the Union Figures K&C has released - I have all except one guy - who will be joining the Unit soon.

Can you figure out who is missing ?

Nice Ron. Where did you get the building and scenics?

Kneeling at the ready is missing and those scenics are from Britains, sculpted by the master himself, aka, Ken Osen.

And Andy should do Union Iron Brigade next, they kicked tail in every battle they fought in; Antietam in Millers cornfield, they captured a raftload of Confederates in the railroad cut at Gettysburg (with thanks to the nephew of Jefferson Davis) and held the line when failing to do so would not have allowed the rest of the army to make a stand along Cemetary hill and Culps hill and they stood toe to toe with seasoned Confederates at 2nd Bull Run, Chancellorsville and Fredericksburg.

First Corps, first division, first brigade..............

I think they are really good these Union Soldiers , in certain cases better than the Confederate ones, but in my humble opinion few of them (Confederate and Union) have "life"..i don't say that they aren't beautiful but they miss something that for example he Britains of the same range have..maybe it's the poses, less dashing..i don't really know , i've picked 4 of the confederate and in the future if they not retire them i'll buy some union (the choice of the chasseur uniform is winning for me) but i prefer the Alamo range..really wonderful and full of "fire" and life.

Brad

I bought the Britains Building & Haystacks from Treefrog (of course).

The haystacks are great and I highly recommend them for all - great product set for a great price.

Ron

Here some pictures from the OLD K&C Civil War Range - UNION ! crossing Burnsides Bridge !

a fine display ron iv'e been mixing k&c & britains together for a while know and i'm always pleased with the out come

Thanks guys for the kind remarks

The river is Reynolds Plastic Wrap - Blue - very simple to use and quite cheap for water ! :D

Thanks John

The rocks next to the river are actual rocks from Antietam Bridge at the actual Battle Site ! Don't tell the National Park Service ;)

I have some shots from the Rebel Side of the bank and those rocks are from the cliffs where the Georgia Sharpshooters took up position and stopped the advances by Burnsides Men over the Bridge.

Knowing all this adds a little something to the diorama. :)

Here are some pictures from the other side of the bank of the Bridge !

I have mixture of K&C - OLD Civil War figures and Britains ! I think it works out pretty good. This is one of my favorite dioramas - having been to the Battleground at Antietam so much. It is displayed in our living room. :D
