Scott,

Are you getting out of the hobby? I hope not.

You could still collect K & C but also collect other makers' figures. I think that is what many of us do. I still enjoy K & C but don't limit myself to their figures.

Cheers,

Brad

Hi Brad
I am just sick of the prices rising monthly had enough mate i dont see any difference in the painting detail except duller colours
i have Figarti and think i will go back to collecting Napoleonics
I think there is that much ww2 coming out its starting to get boring most of it keeps getting remade
Best regards Scott

Scott,

I hear you but even though I don't buy as much K & C as I used to, I still enjoy what I have, particularly since I prefer the way they used to be made.

Since you like Naps, have you checked out FL. They are expensive but they don't get retired often and you can take your sweet time in collecting them. I collect their ACW line and they are superbly sculpted.

I agree - a lot of the WWII stuff is remakes or different camo schemes of the same vehicles. As for NAPs there is a wide choice including K&C and Fl. Some off the CS are good. I think the TGM NAPs are excellent and the Britains pieces are well done and offered at a good price. And JJD is just getting into NAPs in the Peninsular War.

Terry is correct. There is a wide variety to choose from.

K&C is remaking NAPS too! The Cuirassiers are being revisited in their latest release. I wonder why... {sm2}

Good choice! You can get some terrific glossies at reasonable prices! I have a collection of Tradition Napoleonic glossies that I enjoy very much! :) Even Trophy I believe is better priced per figure than a lot of matte figures out there these days!

Just to chime in on this thread mood...I too start to be frustrated with the lack of brand new productions even with ranges like Napoleonic which present so much opportunity. It seems that most of the manufacturers (FL may the exception IMHO so far) are just looping in on the same regiments. Not sure it's because they play it safe with re-doing ranges that sold well or there is a lack of new blood in sculpting...
