I just received my DD075 US Patrol Jeep. What a great piece ! This is by far the best K&C jeep to date. I recommend it highly.

I saw this at the London show in June, looks even better in the flesh.Great model.

Ditto. I will concur it is indeed a "great piece!" for a wee vehicle. I think we need more support and softskin equipment. Maybe a Brit. European theatre, or Pacific war versions!!??

I wish I could share your excitement. Don't get me wrong, it is a good piece ( I bought 3 ), but compared to the last 2 Jeeps...the MP & ambulance Jeep, here are some of my "dislikes:"
1. Glass windshield is small/not proportion. I guess this
was done to accomodate the rifle. The good thing (and
the reason why I bought 3) is it folds.

2. The front & rear axle lift springs and differentials are
not visible. Looking at the front view, the under chasis
looks like it got sliced clean.

3. The 30 cal. MG looks more like 1/28 compared (same
thing with the White Scout Car) to some other sets (M
21, Stuart) other sets.

What I don't understand is, KC already has a good Jeep base and why they did not build on it just boggles my mind...I guess they used a different supplier/manufacturer.

Overall it is a great piece! Love those figures, great poses!
External appearance is A+

Anyways, still looking forward to a plain Jeep (with removable canvass top) with trailer or37 AT Gun in tow

Noli-Poli,
I agree with you 100% on your comments related to the DD75 Jeep and figures. I especially like the beard on the machine gunner. Its a great model with some minor problems as you described in detail. I have learned to accept the small things if overall the impression is good and this model fits that description.

I too would like to see a "plain" jeep with a removeable cover and perhaps a remake of the trailers or a towed gun.

Overall, I am very satisfied with the new jeep and I look forward to newer models.
